Infiniti M45 information / forums

Does anyone have any info on the M45, other than the usual specs? Are their any downfalls to this car? No need to bash the exterior styling for my sake, because I do like the design. Does anyone here own one? Would you recommend it? A friend owns one and I was really impressed with its performance.

Thanks

...are you referring to the current gen. or the new one that's coming out... (I think) next year? one of my clients' employee owns one, and they just rev about how fast it is... personally I like the car too, but I'd wait til the next gen. it's alot better looking... IMO

Oops. Thanks for saving me from myself. In answer to the first question, I'm talking about the 1st gen. I'm looking at a 2003 or 04. I'm not too excited about the 06. It kinda looks like an overgrown Maxima if you ask me.

I'm particularly interested the costs associated with maintaining it. I already got an insurance quote. It will only cost me $100 more a YEAR to insure it. I'd like to know how the 30,000 mile maintenance compares to the TL, which is usually $450 to $600. Cost of tires, brakes, etc.

The last gen model took a little time getting used to, but overall I think it's a very nice car. Very powerful and a beautiful interior to boot! Dealers are giving away the cars btw, so you should get a great deal on one...

super powerful with the 340 HP V8 0-60 in 5.6 even with an automatic Tranny. Interior looks very similar to the Q45. Exterior styling is subjective but if you like I say go for it. It has never been a runaway seller like the G35 so I would guess you could get a smokin deal on it

Try Edmunds' maintenance guide, it'll give you an idea on how much it'll roughly cost.
