I'm tired of the CL........
I'm tired of the CL. It just doesn't excite me the way it used to. I've been modifying it to attempt to keep my intrest from fading, but it's not working. When it was painted it was taken apart, and now everything rattles and squeaks, some of the electronics don't work half the time......Also, no one ever gives me any credit for what I've done (except you guys) because they have no clue what my car is. I'm tired of being associated with the fucktards that make up this "tuner" culture, and the stigma that comes along with it. Having to slow down for bumps and still be shaken so badly it almost spills drinks isn't fun at all, and the rough ride can get old. The leather is worn and cracked, everything feels so loose and old. It has 113k miles on it........
I know I'm just
ing away here, but it's the way I feel about the CL right now. I just want it to go
and to get something new.

everyone drives there car into the ground through college, you graduate, work about 6 months and you get a new car. Well, at least that's what we do out here.
Get a new car. Even better... get a dune buggy.
-Or a sport bike. I doubt the thrill of that'll never wear off. You'll likely crash before that happens. Then it provides you even more thrills.

I definitely would not get a new car while you're in college.
Either stick it out with the CL or get a 4-door beater to hang out with college pals in. Like phipark said, start saving now, get a job after school, save a little more, and you'll be able to get a kickass car then.
By the time you graduate from college you'll be a little more grown up and have different tastes. You should wait until then to get a nice car. If you get a new car during college you also risk immature jealous kids in the school fucking with it.

I'd just deal with the CL through college. Think of it this way...if you make all the right decisions now, and do well in school...it'll effect the rest of your life. Just compromise a few things for the time being so that you can achieve huge rewards in the future.

I drove an 87 Nissan Pulsar through college. You are driving a CL through college...that's a good thing.

I drive an 01 CL-S with Nav... and I sometimes get that feeling too. Then I go somewhere secluded, put that bitch in park, climb outside, crouch down, and marvel at what a nice fucking car I'm driving at the age of 19. And with all my money and effort too.
Enjoy whatchu have man, it could be a lot worse. Good luck in college.
