Congrats. I was about as close to buying an '04 TL as you can get. At the last minute, I bailed and bought an '04 S4. Having had only AWD or RWD cars since 1990, I just couldn't go FWD. IMHO, that is the only flaw in the TL, which is otherwise an amazing car, and absolutely gorgeous inside and out. I had an '01 S4 which is easier to mod, but stock for stock, doesn't compare to the new S4, and the sound of the V8 is awesome. As for the question of how fast they are, the usual mags have gotten 13.5-13.8 at around 102 mph. I pulled a 13.8@101.

The only downside...get ready for piss poor gas mileage. I consistently get 12-13 mpg in town when I'm babying it. You don't want to know what I get when I want to have a little fun. Anyway, enjoy your car.

 

im not a hater. But i just dont see whats the big deal with those cars.. Over here in Va i never be hearing people talking about Audi's period...or the fact that "I want an Audi!" Only in this forum. I think they are the ugliest german car next to VWs.. I usually here STi's, Evolution, Civic hatchback turbo, M3's , Supras.,,IS300s TLs etc etc. ....that people would like to own
