I'm not even sure...

I've never even heard of this Ford Granada, but apparently someone has stuck a Koenigsegg motor in one.

The Granada was never sold here in the States AFAIK. But in the late 70s and early 80s the Capri and the Granada actually had some balls.

It's an interesting project but I think with as light as the car is, taking a new Ecoboost 2.0T and dropping that in there would be a lot more usable (and cheaper) than this project.

But hey, at least they can say it was done.

My favorite image is the license plate...

I lived in England during the 1970's and remember both the Mark I and II Granadas well.

Not to argue the point but the Granada that they dropped the Koeniggsegg engine into wasn't sold here.

But you're right, to say that the Granada wasn't sold here at all is inaccurate. THAT one wasn't.

1,700 hp is possible...

Could you imagine pulling up next to this at a light thinking it's a bucket and then getting blown away?

When America needs a better idea, Ford puts it on wheels.

What. The. Fsck? No wonder the American auto companies lost business....this sort of moronic thinking and advertising. I mean, there are just no words to describe how dumb this ad idea was.

Why not? lol He obviously has the money, that motor had to be crazy expensive, and the amount of custom fabrication that has gone into this has to be pricey as well. Not to mention all the parts it would require for that motor. Imagine being able to walk Skylines and such no problem.

they did spell it out...... but don't forget companies like Hyundai and Kia blatantly ripoff luxury car companies so it's not like people don't do it anymore.

I wonder why he went with a Koenigsegg motor. It's different but I've never heard of someone using one not counting Ford GT motors.

The car is in Norway, maybe the GT motor was harder to procure there? That or he just really wanted to prove a point, which seems to be "WTF" lol.
