Quote: Not only is the G35 ergonomically flawed, but the dashboard exhibits busy design through numerous interconnected panels of various texture and color. The sedan (tested) had a tan and taupe two-tone design. The coupe was more cohesive trimmed all in black, which not only gave the cabin a less jarring appearance but also served to hide the myriad cutlines of the dash. Because there are so many different panels comprising the dashboard, it's easy to find misalignments and poor fits, which creates an impression of indifferent build quality. The rattles, squeaks and flimsy trim in both of sedan and coupe does not do much to dispel that impression.

The Good - Impressive engine, fine ride quality, telepathic communication with the road, braking ability, clean and elegant styling

The Bad - Cost-cutting cabin materials, rear seat comfort, flawed interior ergonomics, high liftover into trunk, foot brake can trip driver upon entry, rear visibility (coupe)

The Ugly - The gauges and displays wash out easily depending on lighting conditions and whether sunglasses are worn. With the stability control switched off, the G35 gets tail-happy too easily in the twisties.
The g35 has one of the cleanest dashes out there. All of the buttons are aranged in straight lines. Each button is easy to find without hunting for it. the entire guage pod telts so that the guages are never out of veiw regardless of how tilted you have the steering wheel. I have never heard of anyone complaining about squeeking dashes.

Not sure what you mean about a high liftover trunk. the opening is flush with the bumper. in addition the trunk lid closes in a way that it doesn't crush any of the contents in the trunk even if you have it packed to capacity Rear seat comfor is the best considering the rear seats recline, a feature not available on the TL.

Quote: OK...so since this is an Acura website, the opinions are biased...so to get an unbiased opinion, you suggest he goes to a Lexus, or some other car site....whose opinions aren''t biased? That makes a ton of sense
It makes sense to go to another website asking which interior quality is better...infiniti or acura. Then there would be no biased opinions since they dont own the car. I have no idea what your thinking about...

You're essentially saying this site is biased for Acura, since these are Acura owners. And what makes you think the other sites would be less biased against Acura? That's like some of you Nissan fans coming to this site and accusing the Acura camp of being biased against the G35. It's a 2-way street.
