I drove one that belongs to my brothers friend. One look at it and you wont say its an ITR. It had a full JDM front conversion, R34 GTR tails molded with the R34 Trunk. Huge lipped HRE wheels, greddy turbo kit and he was running it at 8 PSI, that thing was a beast . I'll see if i can get some picture. All the work was done very nicely but way too much money had been put into that car that could have been put to better use.

I looked up a couple vids on the ITR, i'm very impressed, I bet a turbo one is wayy fun on the track. Still for the price though I personally would rather pick up a b5 s4 but thats just me.

N/A ITR > Turbo ITR any day

i've driven fully built B18C5 and B16B in NA form and there isn't anything that is as much fun, shifting at 10K+

They offered to pay for his hotel and stay but he decided to return the puppy and pick up an EVO IX RS

He paid a couple more grand and got a brand new car with a whole lot more power and a whole lot more handling.

He said one of the best decisions he ever made regarding purchasing a car...
Was your friend in the United States? Because there is no such thing as a '99 black Type-R here.

That does not mean I wouldnt take a type r as a weekend car. I'd love to be able to afford another car to run around with. My problem was I was commuting 150 miles a day.
FYI - RPM in a s2k at 80mph is about 4.5k too and it s very loud.

He needs to hit the right target audience... instead of the cheap riceboy forums, he should be listing it on trackjunkie/high end collector forums

If this guy can get $13K for a ford pinto, it should be easy to find a buyer for an ITR...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=230027471982

I swear I need to start up a consignment/broker business to help sell some of these types of cars... Most of the time the seller is trying to sell in the wrong market.

Aren't there problems associated with cars that have extremely low mileage? Not just cars that take short trips, but low miles period.

The car is at a good price I know, but still. That's a little unnatural. If I had an ITR I would drive the crap out of it.

I had a friend I knew in high school that disconnected his odometer. He had a 95 Honda Civic and drove the car to the ground. When he got rid of his car about 3 years ago, he reconnected the odometer and the car only showed 6k miles on it..... Some poor sucker bought the car thinking that he's getting an awesome deal I somehow think this guy might be pulling the same trick.

After I've seen him do that, I don't think I would trust any cars with those old fashion odometers. You can easily disconnect the thing.

in a situation like this, the condition of the car can easily be told by inspecting everything (paint, tires (+original balancing weights), brakes, metal corrosion, exhaust condition, pedals, carpets+seat fabric wear)
it would've cost way too much to put everything back new, and the original paint is there ! (average people can't always see it, but it's easy for professionnals to distinct original and repainted)

s2000 > ITR ??? only by very very little, performance wise if both driven properly on a track
and about that old video, we're talking about NSX-R, not NSX !

whats the difference between the Type-R suspension and the other trims?
little lower, stiffer springs, stiffer shocks, stiffer sway-bars (when ITR rear sway bar is installed on a normal integra or civic, it rips the sub-frame apart because it's so stiff and the other bodies and not reinforced), body reinforcement braces, lightweight body (no sunroof (also to keep frame stiffer), no dash isolation nor trim isolation), brake rotors dimensions alike TL (f+r), close gears ratios+ higher final drive transmission helps to always be in the power of the engine, and limited slip differential helps hug those curves.

ITR : 2555 lbs
S2000 : 2805 lbs
NSX : 3160 lbs

the price difference between GSR and ITRs is pretty extreme. i was surprised GSRs sell for so much....that 01 integra with 32k sounds like a good deal thogh..is it black/black?
