I miss my WS6 *PICS INCLUDED*

Just feel like venting. Sold my 1998 Trans Am WS6 m6 last summer because I had planned on buying my first home. Ended up not buying a house and now I miss my car more than ever. Anyone have one they want to sell? lol. Yes I'm being serious

First car I bought myself was a 2000 Trans Am, non-ws6. I miss that car so much, I bought it with 7 miles on it, 4 of which were from my test drive. I keep telling my gf that my midlife crisis is going to be a 2002 Black WS6 (the last year they made them) god do I miss that car, mine was taken from me by a dodge ram 3500.

just an all around great car. the 6 speed gets 25-28mpg highway. torque monster. ls1 is super accessible and easy to work on. parts are available anywhere and everywhere. mine only had 55k on the clock. it was perfect. searching for another as we speak!

I'd love to pick one of these up as a garage queen. They're not too expensive and you get a lot of bang for your buck.

That sucks. Good luck on your find. For your car guy sacrifice I hope that you find another one in great condition. Something tells me that whatever you find it will never be as "good" as your first.

If I had the opportunity to look for houses and get some real estate under my belt, I wouldn't be thinking about buying another car.

Just my 2 cents.

Nice WS6 though, they're beasts!

My first car was a 1987 Mustang LX notchback. Loved that car. I will either buy a similar one... or a newer one in the same color as a toy one day.

I've owned both a 97 and 98 WS-6. I miss them everyday. Then I grew up and had kids. I do have the wife convinced that in a few years we may look at adding one. Though my choice would be the 99 30th anni.

I did the whole Camaro and TransAm thing when I was younger and I will admit they are a LOT of bang for buck considering you can get those things for nothing these days. Then I went the C6 Z06 route! You will never think of a Camaro or TransAm again :-) On a more serious note, why did you not buy a home? Right now is the time to buy!! My wife and I ended up keeping our townhouse and renting it out and purchased a new home. Incredibly low interest rates and the values are down so much for existing and new home construction homes. Also, if this means anything there is a LOT of new construction going up in my neck of the woods which IMO is a very good sign. Nows the time man, take advantage!

Taxes are a bit steep in my neck of the woods and I'm not sure if I want to stay in this area. I'm prepared to buy a home, but I'm having a quarter life crisis... not sure if I want to live in NY. I applied for a few jobs in Carlsbad, CA just because I love the area

Yeah tell me about the taxes :-( unfortunately thats just how it is, but if your worried about taxes, then NY and CA are not the best places to be living lol. We just moved into our new construction home and we will enjoy a year without property taxes, but when they kick in its going to be around 10-11K a year. Chicago area sucks in that regards too!

Yeah I would undoubtedly rent for a year if I move to CA. Right now I'm just leaving my options open. Dont want to be stuck committed to a house if I follow a different career path. Year without taxes sounds wonderful, for the 150k home I was closing on 6 months ago I was looking at 7k a year in taxes. Just can't say that I love or like NY enough to pay that annually!

These WS6 hold their value so well and sell quickly. Just looking for the right one to enjoy for the time being. we will see!
