Thumbs up I LOVE my Pathfinder!!!

So, this weekend I working on some lowbudget feature doing some reshoots they needed.

We were shooting up in Canyon Country...which is exactly what it sounds like...on a big ranch in the middle no where. A lot of productions shoot there....Dr. Quinn Mediciine woman used to film there.

Anyway, I am setting up the film changing tent in the back of my truck, and one of the actors comes up to me. He is on Seventh Heaven and a really cool guy.

He says, "Dude, you kept this truck in amazing shape."

I told him I just bought it, and he was couldnt believe and then saw it was stick. We were talking for awhile about trucks and cars.

The Next day it was rainy and we were shooting further up in the land. Now, mind you this is all backwoods and makeshifts trails....and NIGHT shooting.

I busted out the Pathy, 4WD and hit the deep muddy trails like nobodys business.

I FUCKING LOVE OFFROADING!!! Its safe to say its as awesome as racing sports cars!

I am proud to be driving around my Pathy covered in mud...I am almost debating to not wash it for awhile. But I will.

I also got offroad in the directors H2...yes, this dude actually takes his Big shiny H2 and beats the piss out off it....and he threw us the keys (we were using for some camera mount shots) and we offroaded it like crazy...safe to say I have new respect for this beast...only off road though.

Anyway, I love my truck and I love offroading...and I cant wait to do it again!

Yeah, the '95 Pathfinder was the last of the rugged look of Pathfinders. Our family had one and it was awesome. My brother sold it for a G35 sedan.....sure do miss that SE-V6!

I am loving more then I ever thought....a little slow sometimes...but strong.

When the time comes...it will be retired for a new FJ Cruiser....but I dont think that time will be anytime soon.

Good stuff Sarlacc. Sounds like you had a good time up in Canyon country. More fun than your little snowmobile expedition???
