A four door variant would likely be aimed at the M5/E63/RS6 group.

from this i see a lot bmw fans here, i dont know if you guys notice, most of the bmw dealer i went they got at least 1 or 2 m3 sitting around available, and isf and c63 is back order. And one more thing my uncle is mechanic for 20 yrs, he sugest me to get the lexus for reliability, because bmw's break down so easily too much mechanic problem, he said he don't want me to fix my car all the time because he can't charge me haha, the same time i was talking to him there was a guy with a MB Clk 500, he said do not get Bmw or MB, i see your uncle almost every month for this fucking car its only 55k miles, and my acura mdx 122k got no problem. So i think i settle my mind now either wait 2 months for is-f or 7-8 months for the gt-r i think.

1. M3 is sitting on the lots because of greedy dealer not willing to move on pricing. Plus BMW is making a lot more M3 than C63 and IS-F.
2. BMW break down too much?? Depends on what you are talking about. Mechanically speaking they are very reliable. (Better than honda i have owned in the past). BMW tends to have electrical problems i agree. But i don't keep the car over 3 years, so this is a mute point for me.
Get what you can afford and want to drive.

I was just on the bmw website. I would rather have the most basic 4 door m3 with cloth seats then a ISF fully loaded. Give me an elise and i will be happier. I am not going to front I would take one over my tsx haha. My biggest problem with it is that the base car is crap! The C class is nice but over priced and i like the 3 series alot

I like the IS-F (Except in that ugly blue color). Just change that useless exhaust and maybe those wheels too. I LOVE the interior and too many people already driving the new M3. Although the resale on The BMW will be much better.

as much as I don't care for this IS-F... (as stated already, those fugly exhaust), for all you haters... keep in mind this is their first attempt... I have no doubt the gap will only shorten as the years go by

IS-F are not on backorder here, neither is the M3. The C63 is, though. I worked on an IS-F yesterday, it's nicer in person; more subtle for sure (doesn't look like factory rice); the tips are still whacky though.
