My new 2005 Acura RSX Type S 6-speed!! The car is a blast to drive and the refinements they did was noticeable. I am very sad that the CL-S went, but it was all for the best for many reasons right now. Well here are a couple of pics from a rainy day....

Just got the windows tinted 20% all round, next mod will be in spring of 05', waiting for the A-Spec Suspension, and thats about it folks!!

you dont have to tell me, I hate having something new in a sense cause nothing is out yet for it! not even Comptech, Eibach, H&R, etc..so I might just wait until the A-Spec suspension in late Feb. Oh well 4x4 it is until then!!

Yeah the CL-S is and I think the best car I had but 260/tank and $30 every 3 days, I needed something more econo friendly that I can put a shitload of miles on it!! So I stayed in the family...05 RSX-S6, yeah people say I downgraded but did I really need some of those stuff in the CL-S? YESSSS but I can live without it for a while BUT give me a few years to see where I am at, saved some more $$ and get my self the new CL in 2007, damn I like that idea!!!

You dont miss the power? I went from a 3.0cl to my RSX-S and the lack of torque is whats killing me. Dont get me wrong its fun, alot more fun than the CL. Wait till 20k on the odometer, thats when the motor started to loosen up.

Yes I already miss the power loss, but it is ok for what I need right now, plus this is a lease so close to 3 years from now...

What do you like and dont like with your car besides power??

Nice going Ralph. Congrats and best of luck with the RSX.

Rattles like crazy, the lack of torque.

Fun, fun to drive but I just want some more torque. Best plus even going through the gears hard and driving a mix of city and highway I still get 30mpg. Thats getting ready to end because I decided to order a mustang GT next week.

Also yank out the bose and replace them!!

yes I already know that there is alot of torque missing, but I am still breaking this thing in, so I would like to see what 8100rpm can do for me! The bose is a hella lot better than what is in the CL-S. Rattles, none so far But fun to drive hell yeah! Something about this car makes me want to drive. I just want to eliminate that wheel gap so bad. I hope the ride wont be to harsh with a comptech or A-Spec drop.

Get the Hondata, I/H/E on the RSX-S and you will be in the low 14 second range. I don't think you downgraded at all because your car is just as fast with decent mods and its ALOT more nimble. The only complaint would be the interior as I've never been impressed with my friends 2002 RSX-S...doesn't look like they re-vamped the interior.

Edit: BTW, I shouldn't bitch about the interior as I own a G35-coupe!

The best is when your @ 60 in 6th and you need to scoot fast drop to third and the tires just chirp and the your gone. Its fun for sure. My passenger seat rattles like crazy and I dont know why.

Not the best in looks but it IS user friendly, only thing that lacks is a armrest

Correct I myself am not a big fan of the interior at all, but I love the stearing wheel it is so little and very tight! Also for the interior they add some trimmings here and there no big difference at all. The center council is and has to be redone in my opinion, but oh well I will wait for what Acura will bring in new. As for I/H I probably wont do, I might put in a Comptech exhaust later on, but for now we need a drop bad!

Sucks to see the CL go. Hopefully the RSX won't be too bad of a replacement.

Now you have to change your name to CLASSYRSXS

My only complaint is and always has been lack of a center armrest/console.

How the newer civics can have them....and the rsx cant??? absurd.
