I went to the autoshow today and I couldn't get away from the new Mustang. Its fucking gorgeous!!!! Its very similar to the concept car....Its retro done right! I want to get one!!!

Although our cars may be "bland"........I could probably count 100 mustangs for every CL I see...............Cobra will still be a Mustang like the SRT4 is still a Neon

I went on Saturday, but was kinda dissapointed. I didnt see the mercedes slr, porsche carrera gt, gt2, gt3, the new nsx, and any lamborghinis. And the new audi quattropale or whatever was just the body, without full interior. It didnt even have real wheels or braking system or anything. It was covered with black cardboard. The inside was covered too. I really liked seeing the is 430 they built on rides. Prob the car i liked seeing the best. I also liked the sooped up accord v6, because it had the greddy exhaust so i could finally see them in person. Prob gonna get these because of seeing them. Just wanted to see em first in person. It was fun thou. My dumb ass forgot my camera in the car, and I didnt feel like going back for it.

I drove SLY1TYPES's Cobra last night. Even with the understated 390hp it's pretty quick. It really pulls nice.


And since the boost doesn't come on right away it can be daily driven. Really an advantage of having a supercharger/turbo if you ask me.

Are you people serious? Did you notice how much the nice cars get messed up from all the ghetto trash being retards & wrecking them? The 05 Mustang doesnt go into production for another 3 or 4 months at least, so that is just a pre-production model.

Oh, and I think it is nice also and I kinda want one too. I just dont want to get rid of mine after it's finally paid off.

I think Ford has enough dough t let one production model go to waste. I'm sure they'd remove the radio and shift knobs like every other car manufacturer.

Jesal: I cover this auto show every year for work, I forget the year, probably 95 or so, but EVERY product offered by GM was locked up tight as a drum, no matter how new or how old.

That's why Mustang is still around after 40 years!!! Firebird and Carmaro are gone because the General don't know the buyers! Take a look at the new GTO and you'd get the idea. Does any part of the car have any resemblence to the original GTO? It has no retro look at all! It's destined to fail Come end of the year, I may very well buy the new Mustang It would be my first domestic car in 17 years!

It did look nice in person, an understated aggressive design. Even if it wasn't roped off, I doubt I would have had a chance to get in it with everybody humping the car. The interior looked good also. 300hp is plenty, I don't think I need a 12 second car to merge with traffic.
