Yes, we mostly stick up for eachother, but when you ask an assinine (sp) question like that, what do you expect? Do you honestly think a CL could ever sound like a Z28 or an LS1? I'm sorry, but if you answered yes to that, then you need your ears checked. There aren't and will never be a single CL on this planet that will sound like the muscle tone of the Z28. I have heard CL's with s/c's, turbos, different headers and exhaust combos, 3.5 liter swaps, etc and nothing sounds even remotely like the Z28. So get your head out of your ass and stop calling us haters, because we are the ones saving you the embarrassment when you want to go to a muffler shop and say, "I want a muffler that will make me sound like a Z28". Thank you and have a nice day.

stop all the bitching, who cares. I think my exhaust is deep as all hell, not like a big V8 but it is louder than a stock Z28 for sure. I have headers and 2.5" piping to a 18" magnaflow bullet resonator to magnaflow mufflers and it sounds awesome. it's loud, but not I'm getting my ass pulled over loud until I really pound on the throttle and then the harmonic roar of my exhaust and intake make me forget that I am a sane father of 3 for a few seconds. Point being have fun and go ahead and try different combos to find what suits you best.
By the way some people don't hear as well as others, like my wife for example.
