It's pretty obvious he just came into the $$ to buy that stuff. Regardless of whatever he says. Newly paved driveway, all new cars within last 2 years.

And anyone who knows how to take care of a car, you DON'T set the keys on the paint.

I'm going to guess he'll squander his $$ on stupid toys like he has shown and end up with nothing in the end. Pretty common when people come into large sums of $$.

 

One of the sites hes on requires a pic like that to prove its the persons car. He mentions it in the thread on mbworld.

Just because people like new stuff doesn't mean they just came into money.

 

While I'll totally agree with you, I spent some time reading his posts. And took a good look at the pictures he posted. He's a bit arrogant, eager to prove what he has to people on the interweb, and everything he has is (basically) new. Even asphault the cars is on is new and the grass! You can see where his dog as pooped by the dark green spots (and or it was fertilized)

That's new $$ attitude, not old $$. Thinking like a rap star or a football player. Not like someone who worked for the $2m for those vehicles.

I'm not saying I couldn't be wrong, but with what I've seen so far I just can't believe anything else...

And it doesn't take anything away from the drool I get looking at his cars! I love almost all of them! hehe. I just think the picture is a bit different than he paints it to be. I'm glad you ended it with that...His money is the same color as everyone else's, who gives a shit how he got it or how long he's gonna have it, He's got it now and clearly, he's enjoying it, so kudos to him.

WHEN I make my millions and I buy my Black/Black F430 spider, will I be labeled as "new money" as well, or just an enthusiast? If the colors in his collection were a little less garish and his asphalt a little more weathered, does that make him a better aficionado?

It just seems as if he went into the Lamborghini/Ferrari/Porsche/Ford dealerships and said "I want this this and oh yeah one of these". All the cars are the "latest" models from their respective car companies. Usually people who didn't just recently come into money have more, introspective tastes, and don't just walk onto the showroom and buy the first thing they see. That, and his choice of colors for the majority of his cars plus the vanity plates scream "LOOK AT ME, I'M RICH! WHOOOO!". Usually people who are wealthy, or were born into wealth have fancy cars, but in more discreet colors (again, this is simply my observations).



Also, if he was good with money, he would know not to spend $2M on cars in a period of a year

 

this guy is my hero. i periodically check out the lamborghini forum and he is a regualr there. he drives all of his cars his colection is simply amazing. he has reviews on all teh cars on the lambo forum oh and did i mention i love lamborghinis they are the SICKESS cars out in my opinion.

 

as if a ford gt, gallardo, murcielago, carrera gt, f430 and a maranello wasn't enough, he needed something more reasonable so he got a 997...

a M5 runs within 1/4 second in the 1/4 mile of a Ford GT plus it weighs a hell of a lot more. it's a "true " 4 door sports car.

dude i was off by 1/4 of a second sorry. according to Car and Driver 8/06 issue(the one with a Z4 M vs Porshe Caymen S) they list car performance toward the back of it.

this is directly from Car and Driver:
BMW M5: 1/4 mile time 12.5 seconds
Ford GT: 1/4 mile time 12.0 seconds. to me that isn't .7 seconds.

Someone was saying .7 of a second. It's actually more like 1 second, and that's huge difference at those times. It takes a LOT more power to even drop a .25 of a second once you get below a 12 second run.

I'm going by what I have seen people run across the US not by what some magazine says. Some guys have squeezed some good times out of the GT.

The GT would hammer past the M5 on the highway.

And Mr. Wizzard (Water-S) the Ford GT weighs LESS and has MORE power. The rules of physics still apply on earth.

I'm not hating because I would take any one of those cars, but add some diversity to your car collection. After the 3rd super car doesn't it get redundent. Let's see which car will I drive fast today? Why not buy some sort of saloon or SUV to the line up

 

to each there own. Personally if i had the money i would have exactly what he has plus an suv just in case i need to move something large that wouldn't fit in any of my seven super cars...

 

It would be a bitch to have to hand wash and wax all those.
