I finally got my new S6

So for months I’ve been trying to get a S6, I took my time and picked out the perfect car and about four days before I would pick it up Audi put in a stop sale on all S6’s and some A6’s as well. This was due to a sensor in the passenger seat, it is still ongoing and probably won’t be solved until late November. Well long story short I found one close to the one I was originally going to buy at a Ferarri dealership in Wilsonville Oregon, made the drive down there on Sunday and brought it home. The car is amazing, hopefully I can get it washed and get some pictures posted.

Congrats.
A coworker has a 2.0T A6 (Premium Plus or Prestige) & it's a quite nice car, I can only imagine how the S6 is in comparison.

It's funny I'm seeing this after seeing one on my way home today. I love how subtle these cars are

I dare you to tune it ...

Even on watered down off the shelf tuning, the car will be close to 500awhp...

Beautiful car.

Agreed. I’ve been sizing the B8.5 S4 as a potential replacement for my TLX and there are so few visual cues that separate it from the A4. But the A4 is so well executed that the S4 didn’t require much variation. Same deal with the A6/S6.

The OP’s S6 looks great.

Beautiful car.
Those things are pretty sick in stock form... but the beast is awakened if you tune it!

How did you manage to procure one if they are on stop sale?

in any case, S6 is a beastly ride and congrats!

Well some of the Ferrari’s cost more than the last house we sold two years ago and some even more than that. I have loved those cars since I was a child growing up in Germany, but I could never justify spending that kind of money on a car.

Thank you. The stop sale is only enforced by Audi dealers, since I picked this one up from a Ferarri dealer used (2000 miles) they were able to sell it to me with no problems.

Sorry to hear that, but I have a warranty and Audi Care, so I’m not to concerned. My S4 before this had no issues, but you always here a story here and there about someone who got a lemon.

S models are familiar to A drivers but they are possessed. Complete monster in a friendly package.

Thank you, I believe the blackout option really gives it a clean look instead of the chrome mixed in, just a better flow IMO.

The black optics look spectacular with the whites. Sometimes the wheel choice with the BO is bad, but not on your car (the new A4 BO wheels don't do anything for the car IMO).

Looks like your car is pretty loaded up. Prestige trim with DAP?
