I dyno'ed my 2009 CTS-V today.
I dyno'd my automatic V2 on the Dynojet at Back Street Performance in Medina, OH today. The best pull was 471 whp and 463 lb-ft.
I will post the dyno sheet soon. Here's the video of the run, which illustrates slow and fast acceleration with the Corsa Touring axleback exhaust. I have no other performance mods.
I have no idea where to go from here with mods. I'm so scared of GM finding out about a tune that I'm going to hold off on doing anything major. I think I'm most likely to just do nothing. If I do something, it will be the open-bottom airbox mod (easy mod that adds a few hp) or CAI (dealer sez CAIs are OK), no tune as the ECU will likely adjust itself for airflow, and be done with it.

RWD and that much power in the winters too?? (since i dont see a winter beater in your signature)
so basically, you just light up the road, melt the snow, and get all the traction you want huh.
your car is a beast!

lightweight pulleys? TBS? Try and go for any mod that reduces the load on the engine. Or you can go all Inaccurate on us and roll around with a >3000 pound CTS-V. Man, that would be one hell of a ride...

That would be AWESOME. I gotta have my luxury, though.
If I were a baller, I'd get a second one without sunroof or navi, and strip it for the track ala Inaccurate--no back or passenger seats, all sound deadening gone, air pump, and ultra-lightweight wheels. I'm still trying to figure out why this car is 4200 pounds. The 19's are 24/5 pounds. Lightweight 3-piece wheels are on average $1000 a wheel
, so I'm not going that route. I used to think RonJon was expensive.....now I think he offers an excellent value to Acura owners.Kamlung, LOL! I'd hate me too.
Monster!! I was scouring different mags to see which other sedan comes close and it seems like the E63 is a distant second when it comes to acceleration.......and that's a beast in its own rite.
CTS-V = Sick Whip!

At this point, more power would only be for bragging rights, though. It's already enough of a challenge to get what power I've got to the ground under certain conditions.
S2000: convertible, shifts at 9k rpm, awesome handling.
CTS-V: Jaw-dropping power with the torque to back it up, surprisingly awesome handling.
I am simply thankful to be able to afford both in my garage, especially in these fiscally uncertain times, I work very hard in my offline life to be able to afford this stuff.
This car at 2500 rpm has the same whp as the max for my RL when I dynoed it. (For noobs or those who don't recall, I dynoed my 2G RL).
Actually, that costs so much more money than a V that it's not even funny. I was not willing to pay that much just for cachet....but you already knew that, I've owned three Acuras.
Um,

It's not hard at all to appreciate my S2000. Let me know when a streetable LSx engine comes along that I can shift at 9k rpm. Then I'll give up the S.

The E63 is for babies.
