I cant stand people...

Who say things like "ugh $48 grand for an acura? no one would be that stupid"

i was talking to this kid and we were eating dinner, im not friends with him, he just lives on my hall. a commercial for the new RL came on and i go "i love that car." he starts saying shit like "no one would spend money on an acura that expensive, why do they even bother releasing something that high end."

no ammount of persuasion would have helped this kid. some people just dont get it...

also, people who say "i prefer german cars to japanese cars" and have no clue what they are talking about.

That's the thing. Just because it's an Acura doesn't mean it's a Japanese car.

The RL is made in Japan (right ??) not in Marysville...

I think I'd prefer a Japanese car built in Japan to a Japanese car built in Ohio

For 48 grand there are alot of other cars that I can think of buying before an RL, but maybe I'm jaded by my experiance with my discontinued CLS....

the point im really getting at is i cant stand people who are just uninformed. i feel like i always agree, or can at least respect what people say, when they are informed. i got into an argument with a kid who thought he knew what he was talking about, it became obvious that he didn't when he insisted that the civic and s2000 engines were v4's and not inline.

I worry about people sometimes.........

I hate biased people, who can't see past their own stigmas. Case in point "I'd never buy a Jap rice burner, AMERICAN POWER BABY!"

Python, you've always seemed like a fairly smart dude, so it suprises me that you'd waste time arguing with someone who is thick-headed. Some people are just not open to new ideas.

Save your time for the girls...

When people use the term 'V4' when discussing cars, it's time for a topic change.

Why not? For the market segment the car is slotted to be, I think you'll be hard-pressed to find another vehicle that has the same amount of features, amenities, and power than the Acura RL...
