I broke my Gauge Cluster need help

I broke my Gauge Cluster by trying to install the glow gauges like in subtledreamer D.I.Y http://files.subtledream.com/TL/reve...low_gauges.htm now I need help... I have a 01 TL with 65k miles on it. I have to buy a new cluster can a 2001 CL Type S Gauge Cluster work? Will the miles jump if the cluster have more miles than my car? HELP PLEASE!!!

dont think the type-s and non-type-s ones line up (as far as indicators being lit up go)

better off just getting another 00-01 (or whatever years 01 is like) gauge cluster off car-part.com
