Oh no, you guys all wrong. Tata Nano better than all other car. It's got bigger windshield and will outsell Genesis forever. No one wants Genesis, every one want Tata. Higher ground clearance too, plus side mirrors luxury.

We need an Indian car fanboy... preferably someone who doesn't even own a car from the brand that they tout so much.

I have a feeling Hyundai will be the next Acura though and play the value card much better in this category than Acura has lately.
My point is not about Hyundai or Audi. it is about that Wall Street Journal article that was mocking that Acura RL is not head turning.
you cannot seriously expect quality, reliablity, AWD with $50K price tag and design it with head turning ability.
even Audi S4 is not that much differentiated from Audi A4 S line in styling department. $50K is not enough money when you consider all the expensive gagdgets, Sh-AWD, paddle shift transmission and Honda long term reliability investment.
If Honda has to make real flagship. price will go up closer to $70K in minimum. as definition of flagship car in terms of technology, aerodynamics, light weight materials, safety, high speed handling, quietness, top of the line MMI software and hardware, AWD system reliabiity and fuel efficiency that exceeds the performance of forced induction cars of competitors.
It isnt 1990 anymore when a boat like LS400 from another Asian firm can succeed.
Today LS460 has no future in Europe & rest of the world. so any investment in that car is not justified for small NA market. Honda is not stupid they must have done market analysis of not introducing flagship like LS. Toyota dervies profits by degrading the the rest of the Toyota brand in the world so as to subsidize its Lexus brand. Honda is known for Top quality, higher priced vehciles than Toyota with much better profit per vehicles.

Even the current BMW 7/5 series is just an upgrade. they are not ground breaking like new A8.
BMW 7 is sales failure while BMW 5 can succeed because starting price is just $45K. there is nothing special in it.

There is no better example of increasing flagship production during economic crises.
