281 divided by 1.6 = 175 mph

Video looks doctored. I can tell because the truck the car passed at the end didn't seem to woosh by quick enough. I'd say the fastest that car was traveling was about 80mph.

i am guessing somewhere in germany or denmark, because denmark also has few roads where you can drive like on autobahns. i have done 140mph in denmark without any problem.

first i also thought that the video is doctored and then i realized that the trucks are quite long and does take some time to overtake them so it could be real.

but the only thing that i am not convinced of is that how can 2lt 4 cylinder engine is cabable of such speeds and also the car is not exactly very aerodynamic or is it!!

looked like he was going downhill.

But its likely that the video was "doctored" or the S2000 was modded - a stock s2000 is supposed to top out at 150mph.

EDIT: F20C RULES

If it actually is going that fast, it just doesn't seem like the lines in the road and the lightpoles are going by fast enough. I've driven at stupid fast speeds a number of times, and shit goes by faster than that.

That looks pretty acurate to me I've toped out my 04 gsxr 1000 on the freeway here its governed at 189 and thats pretty much what everything looked like to me at that speed, and a stock s2k will do more than 150 its not governed its drag limited

The AP2 will do at least 156MPH.

I tried it today and could not find enough room on the highway to kill myself!

brave guy!

I'm sure he was doing it all in the name of scientific research - so that he could tell his fellow Acurazine members that an AP2 is definetely capable of 156mph and more!

Man, the F20C is an all time great engine!

To not incriminate myself in any way, let's say there was enough room to come within 50MPH of the video target. It is a good start.

Assuming he was maxed out, he probably was able to push it a a few mph over the drag limited top speed of the car going downhill. As far as 281kph/175mph, I don't think stock speedos are even close to accurate at those speeds.

this is not true, i am from denmark, every road has a speed limit, although there may not be any cops, and i'm sure you could get away with driving at high speeds, there is NOT ONE autobahn like road in denmark

btw: the danish government loves to take money from swedes!!!! so go ahead and speed there!!!!

jasså

i was there this summer thought that there was exactly the same sign as you see on derestricted autobahn where they cancel 130 kph, i thought it meant you can drive as fast you want.

yeah

the roads were full of swedish cars imho very few danes
you have got very expensive cars maybe thats why
