The Hondas always come in last place in the shoot outs. It's also the slowest of all the 1000's.

Should do alot better this year.....they shaved around 10lb off the 600rr & 1000rr. Hopefully it keeps the ease of usage I experienced while riding the '04 600rr.

marchesini magnesium wheels rock, why spend the money on Aluminum ones Jatt, they really won't be much lighter than your stock ones....

I would suggest looking into having your suspection redone by www.circuit1.com they will make them feel and handle like a set of Ohlins!

I couldn't see my self spending $2500 on those....

I looked into Ohlins suspension and it's damn expensive thanks for that link, I'll link into it.

Some guys only buy one brand of car/bike. Too bad, you're really missing out on a superior product. I've owned Hondas, Yamahas, Kawasakis and I'm now on my first Suzuki. Every new bike I buy has been much better than the previous.

My Gixxer 1K simply kills the CBR and R1. The ZX-10 is close, but you don't see many at track days.

If you go back to my post, I quoted GTrocket (crockpot) who owns a Suzuki bike and I'm a former Suzuki owner too. I wasn't hating Suzuki, we were just joking around.

Gotcha, not being in on the joke, I needed to respond. Lots of people on this board seem to blindly buy anything made by Honda.

Ride on!

Never would have expected much brand-loyalty on a site for a bunch of people that already own Honda products.

Hey KilroyR1 I love those gsxr-1000 , would love to ride to see the differences between it and my R1. I think all the liter bikes are great, and its a matter of finding one that gets your attention. That being said whenever I get sick of the 1000cc inline 4, the 1000cc aprilla mille is what I will get next.
