holy crap I drove a C55 AMG
My buddy just a month ago traded his C32 AMG for a C55. The C32 AMG was a nice car. but the C55 is just bad ass. he let me drive it and keep in mind it's automatic. it's 0-60 time is low 5s. and 1/4 time is low 13s(with minor mods it could hit 12s)
for it weighing as much as it does it felt like i was like I was when I took off I was in a GTO. that sucker pulled like a freight train and it's stock.
this is one of the few cars I wouldn't mind owning in a automatic. I got out of the car and I was speechless. it was just unbelieveable was the best way to describe it.

only thing he hates about having a C class is all the chicks that also say they have C-classes (like the 230s and 240s) and he says "yeah I got a C class too. "

Nice!! I just rode in an Audi RS4 over the weekend (Audi event in Philly) and that was a pretty sick car. I forget which mag it was but if I recall correctly, the C55 was even faster than the RS4.

My girl friend has the black one, and we took it to SF from LA a couple months ago. On the way to SF, I drove and smoked almost every car that I raced including M3s, modded 350Z, S4, and C5 (It had the Z06 on the fender, it was the fastest among other cars). (On 5 Freeway, Straight away for like 3 hours). Please, don't flame me about street racing. . . . I'm not doing it anymore lol.
Basically, C55 is a great car. . fast, luxury, handling (of course, not better than the M3 in handling), the sound of V8 engine is extremely addictive. However, I would still take my TL over C55 anyday.

I've seen E55 run high 11's stock at the track, it was amazing. This guy would line up against turbo tegs and they would have him for a bout 5 secs and then woof he was out.

I'd like to rent one of these. Never would I own one though. For observed fuel economy they are probably the sucks. But then who buys an AMG product when you're frugal like me? I guess if you have the money to buy one, the gas is of no concern.

Drove my friends C55 last summer. Nice smooth power, deceivingly fast, definatley a car youl get alota tickets in. But my I6 with cams takes him in highway rolls now. Benz needs a 6spd manual!

I've driven a few AMG models and can't get excited about them. They are fast in a straight line, but they leave something to be desired in driving dynamics. Also the fact that they are only offered in automatics is disappointing.
