eh headers are quality....has nothing to do with monopoly. Look at the prices of other aftermarket manufacturers.....they as expensive if not more.........

 

Did that price include the special foam filter or was that extra?

 

that's the complete unit - looks like the CT guys are trying to get a little competitive with their competition

 

They have alot more competition with the TSX. Us stuck with the CL-S get whored.

 

if you look on comptech's website, the whole package (headers, intake, exhaust) nets only 10-15 hp and tq.

 

10-15 HP? that's sad for all those bolt-ons. i guess they're already squeezing a lot out of that engine before mods.

 

Not really.... The fuel map is just totally programed for fuel economy. Basically the same as the 4-cyl. Accord. Hondata is coming out with a re-flash that will add about 40 whp but you'll lose about 4 MPG.

As the others mentioned, gains are minimal.... hence the lower price compared to their V6 parts....

$269 plus shipping for the Icebox? Damn, even with taxes we'd probably be cheaper.. and there are ways (yes, legal ways ) around that.

For those who actually looked. The Icebox for TSX uses the stock rubber hose to connect to the throttle body. It also has a flat drop-in filter, not a cone filter. That's why it's cheaper. Less material = costs less

 

Hey 6speedctrlfreak. with the icebox, did they give you the stick they raped you with? I feel your pain, they overprice everything.
