how much of a difference can the Hondata ECU Upgrade do in terms of acceleration? It's only ~20/20 more. Granted it should feel faster, but how much more? Can we get some 0-60 calculations ?

I thought the A4 rode on the Jetta platform and the A6 rode on the Passat platform? The passat is quite a bit larger than the A4.

A6 has its own platform. The new B6 passat is off the my gen A4 platform, at least im pretty sure.

Just wondering...... what are you CL guys gonna get when you decide to dump the CL? Staying with Acura 4 doors, or going Infiniti and such?

I really don't know. When I bought my CLS 6spd, I figured I keep it for about 5 years... 2 1/2 years later, I'm itchy for another car again, and there's not much out there that interests me...

Mustang, G35 6mt, BMW 330, (hint - they are all rwd), or if Acura comes out with a Sh-awd RL based coupe (that's made in japan) are all possibilites. My experiment with fwd is over. I don't think I'll buy another fwd car for a daily driver (winter beater, yes, but not as a all season driver).

I have been to the Infiniti website a couple of times this week to spec out a G35C 6mt If they offered it in Daytona Blue (350Z color) they might have sold me

I might drop my fetish with coupes and goto a sedan. I'm getting too old for a coupe, I guess

Other option is driving the CLS into the ground over the course of the next 10 years or so... I had my last car for about 9 years.

A Scion Xb (or civic) for a winter beater and an older sportscar (C5 vette or porsche 993) is another option I'm thinking about, but I don't think I'm going to do anything for a couple of years...

Acura has a couple of years to get it shit together before I'm ready to buy again

 

i think the CL woulda been crazy sick if it came out with a third gen.. the TL already styled sporty, imagine it in coupe!
