That's a given.
It's not like the TSX has super duper suspension.
It's just a smaller car.
It's always easier to turn a smaller car.

The TSX was designed with European tastes in mind. As we know, europenas favour handling over acceleration.

yes but the suspension tuning is better in the TSX. Only thing it's missing is an HLSD.

i like the tsx, i only get to drive it when i get it as a loaner, but its pretty fun to drive. the dash bored makes mine look like crap. I don't know if i agree with all the comments about the car being aimed toward those wanting to drive on twisties all day, i think it is a smaller version of the TL and fills that price slot for acura. Both are hot cars though. Now all they gotta do is bring back the CL so i can get a new car.

If it turns it into a car that can do 14.3-5 in the 1/4 mile as opposed to 15.3-4 then I think its done its job. The car is IMO just fine below 5K (for my type of driving) but it needed more up top.

But if they bumped up the price it would be "for free" now would it?

Supercharger plus aftercooler will definitely get it into the low 14s/high 13s.

No, it's the other way around, the TL is a larger version of the TSX
j/k but the CL9 Accord (TSX) did come out in Oct 2002, and I saw sketches of it back in Spring 2001. The TL to me is Acura's attempt to Americanize the TSX. (bigger, more power). I think (that means imo, before you ppl start commenting) they should've given the TL a different front end so that there won't be the generic TL/TSX look, hence making each car more exclusive.
I think you interpreted it wrong, I don't think anyone was trying to say the TSX is targeted at buyers who want to go twisties all day.... Let's face it, both TL/TSX (and many so called sports sedans nowadays) are just family sedans with a good performing engine and suspension (among other things of course). Naturally and physically due to their size and weigh (again leads to the balance issue, plus, more weigh transfer going on), they're not going to perform as well as sports car that are designed for the twisites or whatever, and we all know that.

Well, that's exactly what I'm getting at.....
So if handling wise TL > TSX (some of you ppl will disagree, but this is general consensus), and most of us claim that the TL has good performance, how can you say the TSX is not good in the performance department? Unless you're judging soley on power, which was the point I was trying to make in the first place....
hp =/= performance

So what happens when the TL gets its Hondata/SC/whatever? It's like saying Teg+mods > Camaro.
It could be true, but then what happens when you put mods on the Camaro? You're back to square one.
For those who don't mind the extra size, the TL is a better car guys.

I don't think anyone was agruing otherwise.
As for the better car, thats very, very debatable. Its all a matter of opinion.

That was more so a parody of people saying that TSX owners "should of gotten the TL"....
More or less just asking, now that there is somewhat of an Aftermarket following, and The TSX is starting to show some real potential, If we were getting any more respect from the TL owners....and if some members will be able turn in some better 1/4 mile times

Oh, I thought you were reffering to the discussion on these last few pages.
Having said that adding Hondata, Injen, and a header to a TSX is still less than a TL. But there's no point in making that argument as the TL has several things the TSX doesn't.
You get what you pay for.

the TL's gonna be nice too once it gets hondata ect, if and when that happens right now however, there in our ball park... Also the title was planned to be "Hmmm... maybe you should of brought a TSX" which is a little less confrontational and more or less what the early TL crowd had been saying

I don't think there are any plans for a Hondata TL application
