^ I think its because the wheels I have (from the sports package) are very similar to the base 17" wheels from the GTI. Although most GTI's purchasers opt for the optional 18's.
I know 177 isn't alot of tq but its more than the TSX had. This thing feels down right tourquey in comparison.

TSX is a dog in the low RPM's, even when I drove my friends manual.
