fine but the thread title says nsx handing italians and germans their ass... I wouldn't really say anyone was 'handed their ass'

Throw a supercharger on the NSX-R and it will beat them all.

the lambos have like twice the power of the NSX... even with a good driver it's very hard to compensate...

Had this video saved on my HD Oldie but goodie.

On a side note did anyone see the NSX get pulled on hard by the Murc on the straightaway?

I was quite impressed by the M3 CSL hanging like it did. Porsche

always good to see an NSX have a good day at the track. Even if it did over heat at the end, it did well staying with much higher HP cars.

Only if the SC made about 400 WHP for the NSX-R would it have a chance to stay close the the lambos on the straights. But the SC does transform the car -- I can attest to that.

Watching the video reminded me of a David and Goliath match-up.

did you get a SC for your NSX finally?

With a comptech SC, headers and exhaust, the NSX is a very different beast compared to stock... I didn't dyno mine but I wouldn't be surprised to be at 380-400 HP. Maybe I'm wrong...

I don't know what you mean by finally. I've only had it since Feb. I was only going to do CT i/h/e but CT made me an offer I couldn't refuse. (dyno results)

Even though the numbers seem low, keep in mind that the number were adjusted downward to the conservative side. My original baseline was about 24 WHP more. With CT i/sc/h/e, it's got 336 WHP on the conservative side or about 360 WHP if using my original baseline. The import number is the increase in WHP which was about 90 WHP. Next comes the Stage II kit (when it comes out). Should be good for another 40-50 WHP.

my mistake... I remember someone has a NSX here and was saying that he was looking into getting a SC... Nice setup.. So i guess my numbers should be similar than yours... Too bad my car is stored for the winter now :-(...

Cheers
