Help me choose new rims for my BMW E90
OK so I am looking for some new rims for my black E90. I played a little game of tirerack.com on photoshop so I could compare them all on the car.
Wanted to see what the Azine crew had to say about them all. All the prices are for a set of 4 and rims are all 18x8 in size.
Please look at pics before voting in the poll.
MY STOCK BMW 16x7 rims (will use for winter wheels)
---------------
GLOSSY BLACK M6 STYLE WHEELS - $900 (will look a little darker than in pic)
----------------
HYPER SILVER 5 SERIES WHEELS - $700
---------------
HYPER SILVER M6 STYLE WHEELS - $400
---------------
HYPER SILVER M5 10 SPOKE WHEELS - $500
Thanks for the help guys.

but I like the black ones. Black on black is STILL hot, that's what I got.

i was actually talking to the guy i'd be buying the M5' from and I think he might be able to get me those wheels in a dark gunmetal... almost black but not quite.
thats what i might be leaning towards

I don't get the point of putting time attack style rims on a luxury sports sedan. So out of your options, my vote is for Hyper Silver M6s, although the CSL rims are one of my favorite rims on BMWs (but a lot of people have them so they are kind of played out).

I'm not a fan of them, need a little bit more substance, less mesh looking.
The closest I'd go are the M5 wheels.
Plus like others have said... everyone's got um... trying to be a BIT more unique.

The guy with the Hyper Silver M5 wheels just emailed me and said they also have them in Gunmetal...
I think I'd take these over the silver ones, I like the darker color.

Not for the replicas. They are about $699 for all 4 in 18"

i believe the e46M3 rims ahd two sizes, both 18's and 19's, so they could be a possibility.
out of all of those i pick the silver M6's i like 5 spoke designs.

yeah but in terms of replicas... i can get the M5 wheels for $200 less and I like the way they look better.
now if I was priced into them because THEY were $200 less than the M5 wheels I'd consider it but to me its paying more money for a wheel that I like less than the lesser expensive of the two

yeah I do too but the only reason I think I'm hesitant on all of the 5 spokes is because they look so similar to my stock rims... I kinda want something different.
I used to be the KING of 5 spoke rims... EVERY car I owned must have 5 spokes... I put RSX 5 spokes on my TSX... now I like that I have 5 spokes for winter wheels but maybe want something thats different for the summer... the black M6 5 spokes are growing on me though.... i like that they are a different color from a plain silver looking 5 spoke.
who knows... lets see how the poll ends up
