Help on lease option
We're considering trading in our 2006 TSX with Nav for an RDX, but we would be leasing it as the payments are out of reach. We need an SUV to fit the baby into with other stuff. As it stands, we can only fit the stroller in the trunk of the TSX and that's it. Everything else has to go in the back seat.
Anyway, can you negotiate a lease just like financing? I got the TSX for 28k. It is the same dealership and salesperson.
He's talking something like $3,285 down and $369 a month for the RDX, or $5300 down and $499 a month for the MDX. This is all for 3 years at 10k miles a year.

Everything is negotiable on a lease, including the sales "price" of the car for the residual amount, the money factor, amount down, miles, etc.
Also, 10K = not enough miles, and the amount down is too high. Check out the leasing explanations at msn money or cars.com as well as other lease threads on Acurazine for a more complete explanation.
Is the RDX trunk big enough to carry your stuff; why not a minivan?
G/L.

Relative to the RDX, are you SURE it's large enough to haul the baby stuff you'll need to haul? With the rear seats up, that back hatch area isn't large if you're hauling strollers, bags, etc...

Best way to do a lease is the same way you do a buy. Go in armed with as much information as possible and a goal in mind. Gets quotes from several dealers and ask them to meet your ideal lease terms, if possible.
