Demographics of Acura has somewhat changed...best way I can put it.

I suppose the peeps you have in mind who are creating this "ass factor" are mostly the newer members and tend to be young, have an attitude, and need to feel they can show something. Well, of course, a few years back, we had less of this crowd because well, a TL, CL, TSX, and etc. were not affordable for the younger crowd...

And now, well...used cars, right? Heck, my CL-S is worth peanuts now if I were to sell it...and if I were a young kid with $12-$15K in my pocket, I'd be thinking: "Used CL-S with decent interior and power or a Chevy Cobalt?" And chances are, I'd pick the used CL-S...

Anyhow...sign of the times, Loseit...Unless the "ass" is really making a true ass of himself and offending other members, there's not much we can do since it is their right to post, no?

Well, I can't do it NOW. The 09 models arent out yet...and I'm not 100% I can afford it yet with the wedding happening. But I WILL get one. The future wifey knows because I constantly remind her I am getting one. It will happen

Like most of you, I frequent a variety of auto forums, and it's really funny how the flavor of the forum reflects the type of car.

On LSxGTO.com there are lots of titties in the avatars, and ramblings about drinking.

On Miata.net you aren't allowed an avatar, and if anyone utters the word "Gay", the mods come down with a warning.

Which brings us to Acurazine - right down the middle. Mods are reasonable, everyone is pretty kicked back (at least in Car Talk).

The evolution (devolution?) of the main forums is inevitable as the value of the cars drop. But it's all good - these whippersnappers have to learn for themselves.

I agree for the most part...except i found everyone on lsxgto.com extremely nice and helpful.
But, i stayed out of their version of ramblings as well.

Well i think Car Talk runs pretty smoothly. Besides today.

People ask legit questions or opinions about cars and they get real answers for the most part.

I am on MANY forums and AZ's Car Talk has the most unbiased opinions on cars. Which is why i like it here. Plus we all a big family so its fun to pick on each other sometimes.

There is a distinct lack of bias in the car talk threads. The biased people are open about it, so you can just ignore Yummycheeks and get your info

It feels like I'm in Ramblings. lol

Anyways, even though there are some closed minded retards going on here and there, I can truly say that AZ is by far the best forum out of zillion other forums.

When my parents were looking for a new car, I went to this lexus forum to get some valuable info....... Oh man, every IS owner on that forum hates 3G TLs and G35s . Not even kidding. I left that forum without asking any questions.

Some Japanese company offered a conversion kit. It's in Car Talk somewhere if you want to find the thread.

Yes black on black.

Orange would be the back up color...or the dark grey if I go R/T.
