To me when someone is driving a car that is kinda wrecked like in the picture it gives me the inclination that the person driving is a bad driver. Its probably not true half the time but thats what comes to mind for me. So yeaaa, hope i dont get flamed for this comment.

The only way you can be embarrassed is if you actually give a shit about what other people think. Since I don't give a rat's ass about what other people think I wouldn't even give it a second thought to drive that... even if it was just transporting it temporarily.

I'm sorry if I shouldn't bring this up but I think he meant like "fresh off the boat" times have changed and I bet a lot of the immigrant now will have money, but like back in the day when my dad and mom came over, the first car we bought was some rusted out old mini van, so like a TL would be awesome compared. I mean well now we drives Benz and BMW and Acura(i'm the die hard Acura driver . so yeah.

I've been embarrassed to drive a couple of cars. Both were loaners from a Chrysler dealership. The first was a Chevy Cavalier, which I called the death trap (it was slow as shit and had horrible blind spots), and the second was a Chrysler LHS, maroon color, but all the paint was peeling off the entire car. Looked like some ghetto POS car that you see abandoned in a really bad part of town. I wanted to die when they said that was my loaner.

I've been known to do that, too. I can't stand dirty cars and I actually feel bad for them when they're dirty, like they aren't taken care of, so I give them some TLC.

And actually, one time I had a TSX loaner and there had obviously been a kid in the back seat - muddy footprints on the back of the front seat, a drink box on the floor, fingerprints on the window, etc. Yeah, I cleaned the interior like it was my own. It's a sickness.
