GT-R C&D review - 0-60 3.3seconds, 1/4 in 11.5!

I wonder what excuses we are going hear this time on why it got such a good ¼ time.
1. The guy drives for Nissan so he knows how to make the car go fast
2. C&D are being paid by Nissan.
3. This car is a special version just for the mags that has more HP.

For me, anything that goes 0-60 3.3seconds, 1/4 in 11.5 is going to be exiting.

And from the looks of the GT-R vs. Z06 vs. R8 vs. 911 TT/GT3 threads, lots of other people aren't either.
This is coming from a die-hard R34/R33/R32 GTR fan. Those cars make me jizz my pants everytime I see one. Simply put, the new GT-R is incredible, but not that desirable. Come to think of it.... there hasn't really been a single DSG/SMG/DCG car I've fallen in love with at all yet and I doubt there ever will be. I don't give a crap if it has cluthes or not, I still consider it an automatic with shift paddles.

Fast? check.
Ugly? check.
Technological overkill? CHECK.
It just seems like they took the concepts of all the Japanese rally cars and put it on steroids with all the electro doodads. I commend them for beating whatever it is they we're aiming to beat, but I think they put that before making the car a worthwhile drive.

Tough crowd to please if a $70k Nissan that does 3.3 to 60 and runs 11.5 doesn't impress. Then again, this is the internet.

1. Point car down a straight
2. Press gas = 3.3 sec to 60
3. Tell the world how good of a driver you are because you got to 60 in less than 4 sec.
I am by no means a pro behind the wheel, but I'll take my 6-spd TSX any day of the week, because I like the idea that I have at least some sort of control over the car.
When this car hits the streets, I'll look, may even stare, but I won't cream my shorts like others will
