Well, that's it. I got keyed.

We just moved our offices to a new location, which happens to be a great business location during the day, but at night (I work late a lot) apparently, not such a good location. My car was the only one in ground floor parking structure, and the passenger side got hit. Both doors and the rear 1/4 panel, single key line, down to the metal.

I have a $500 deductible, and the over the phone estimates are around $1500-$2000.

Ugh.

one week later from right behind the gas cap all the way down to the drivers door and a big dent in the door from the other car... i saw the girl sleeping in the car thought nothing of it since it was raining. this was at the club i parked in the very back no cars around me. next day i saw it down to the metal...

That is my fear right now. I need to figure out how to get a spot in the controlled access below-building lot that is completely full.

It's NBP, and with 26K miles, the paint is showroom pretty (except the front bumper, thanks rocks...)

Just put another layer of Klasse SG on it two weeks ago....

The 84 year old chain smoking woman who is the "Security Guard" told me that it was really unfortunate that this happened to me. Duh. No cameras in the structure, but I have a line on an underground, controlled access parking spot.

 

That would probably just make the kids curious. Then, when they lift the cover and are disappointed to only find some shitty Acura TSX, they would eff it up anyway...

Not only that, but if your car isn't clean all the time you'll just end up putting swirl marks and such all over it from putting the cover on and taking it off. And if it is clean, you'll need to be super careful as well.

Sucks dude, happened to me too two days after buying my Accord. My only suggestion is to avoid Collision on Wheels. I took the cheap route and have had nothing but issues with their repaint. I also had a much bigger deductable than you and was feeling cheap since it was two days after buying the car. Still pisses me off thinking about it. In fact, someone just left two black bumper marks on my back bumper that I had to rub out (no jokes please) tonight with some bug/tar remover and some microfiber clothes. Thankfully they both came off and no scrapes remaining.

So where exactly you working now so I know where to avoid parking my car at night?
