Got a 02 RSX loner...bla
Car is junk compaired to out Cls. However, there were two things that I really DID like
1. the driver power windows will auto UP and down, ours only does auto down.
2. The triptonic shift lets you controls the shift from 1st to 2nd, and also downshit from 2nd to 1st....we can't do that, the computer does it.

I traded one in for my CL S. I have to say driving the RSX S is s much different experience than driving the Premium. I had the 6 speed S and it was a strong little car with nice suspension. it would surely out corner my CL S. But, I hated feeling like a high school kid driving the RSX. I was ready for an adult car.

I have a Base Model RSX and it is a decent car. Pretty quick(5 speed manual) but the suspension is very firm. The ride gets very tiresome and noisy. You feel every bump. Maybe I am just ready for a more "adult" car.

Drifting
I drove a base RSX as a loaner and nearly wiped out some construction cones with tires almost squealing on a wide-turning freeway entrance ramp doing around 40 mph. Took the same ramp with my CL at around 45 with no problems whatsoever.

Wow...a "rip on the RSX" thread. Unfortunately, I've never driven one so I don't feel right dissing it. I figure it's probably one of the best cars in it's class but the CLS definitely isn't in that class so is it really fair to compare the two?

I still think that car is girly. I test drove an Aegean blue one before purchasing the CL-S.

...and they need it.

Had one as a free loaner after the dealership in MA dented my trunk during the 30K checkup. The car was fun to buzz around in but dangerous when I tried to drive it like my CL. The auto 5 speed had no power. I had to let it wind up before I could pass anyone on the road.
