It was, I think it was 19k miles, but for sure under 30

BTW Demik, I really like how your car is shaping up. Looks really clean, yet aggressive.

If it was me however, I would have kept the I N F I N I T I on the trunk or add the 06+ spoiler because it's kind of bare with just the emblem holding things down.

Otherwise, everything is slick, and I especially love the black chrome badging... good stuff.

I appreciate the kind words and opinion. Personally, after viewing several different cars on the G35 boards, I liked the clean look the best, being no spoiler and only the Mt. Fuji emblem. What I MIGHT do (and I'm on the fence about it) is throw on this roof spoiler in gloss black for a few reasons. First being that it will flow great with the black roof, and secondly, I think it looks great w/out a rear spoiler.

http://www.g35driver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=156801

As for the emblems, I WAS going to get them black chromed, but since I was painting my grille gloss black, I figured I'd paint the emblems too, saving me $35 for the process, to see if I liked it first. Thanks!

EDIT: Oh, and thoughts on the eyelids? I originally ordered them in white, but neither of the two whites he sent me matched with the paint. I ordered the dual layer version which comes with a gloss back for the first layer, and said fuck it, might as well throw these on and see how they look. So your opinion on the eyelids would be greatly appreciated.

Car is shaping up great. To be quite honest with you, I would have kept the infiniti emblems on it and removed the eyelids. Good stuff nonetheless.

Are you referring to the 'I N F I N I T I' or the actual Infiniti Logo emblem? If the latter, they're both on there. Thanks

I dunno why, but I've always been against both the Emblem of the car, and the lettering of it. I find it redundant

So after having the plenum spacer installed for a week or two, I thought I'd comment on it. After intalling/reinstalling the previous plenum 3-4 times, the install on this was a breeze. I picked it up for roughly $200, and the guy helped install it with me which made it go by a lot quicker. For the money, it's the best think you can get as far as a bolt-on goes. The mid-end+ acceleration is much improved, and once I pass 3700rpms, the car just wants to pull a LOT harder than it did before. On top of that, the exhaust note got a tad louder, which is also accompanied by the HFCs. I must say, my car sounds damn good . Anyways, since it looks like it's clearing up finally, I'm gonna detail the car this weekend hopefully and take some real photos (my buddy is gonna let me borrow his camera).

Thought I'd update. My buddy and I decided to paint our headlights last weekend. Here are a few shots of it. Tomorrow I'm picking up my Chargespeed rear and some Tein S-Techs. Come mid next week, once everything is put on, we're gonna detail the cars and do a little photo shoot w/ my dad's vette. Here's just a few pics for you guys...

thanks Thermon As for the emblem, I have one painted, and one left chrome. I switch back and forth when I'm bored, heh.

Love it, I've been debating this for a while now (painting the headlight housings)

The Blue batmobile overlay is looking great. The lines of the G35 flow very nicely with it. Seeing your car, I think I'm convinced on getting 15% tint on the sides.

Yeah, it only takes about 8 seconds to switch out the emblems, which is why I have one chrome and the other painted gloss black. BTW I just re-painted my grille yesterday and damn does it look good . And yes, that's his vette. As promised, I'll include that in our photo shoot.

I appreciate it. Definitely go w/ 15%, I think it's the best fit between classy and dark. As for the headlights, I say go for it! It was scary, but not difficult at all (except for taping the shit up). The quality of mine isn't that great up close since it was my first time, but I love it and think it looks great, and I don't see myself re-opening these lights again to fix it, haha.

Wow you guys brought this thread back! Nice glad you enjoy your G coupe Dem! I enjoy mine. Been jonesing for an EVO IX lately though...hmm

It all started with this one I saw at the light a few weeks ago and that was it. Now I wish I could have both

One I could just cruise in ( G coupe ) and an EVO I could just mod balls to the wall haha!

Ti: thanks homie...sorry for not getting back to you in the past, I totally forgot lol. Are you still lovin' the ride? Having an Evo would be awesome, and if you can pull it off, I say go for it! As for the roof, it's an overlay from blue_batmobile on g35driver. I think it was $70 or so, but it's a bitch to put on. Thanks for all the kind words. What are you plannin on doin to the headlights? I wanna know!! haha...As for FI, nah no plans. I'm only keeping the car for another 10 months or so, so no big plans for her. How about you?

Jedi: thanks homie

Update

Tein 350Z S-Tech's and Chargespeed rear bumper are on. I'll post photos shortly, but here's a teaser of the bumper. BTW, that's a reflection of the exhaust tip on the black portion around the tip, enjoy ...
