Tirerack.com or Discount Tire.

I hit Discount tires locally and he matched the lowest price I found (Sears). That saved me about $80 (orignal quote was like $620).

In the past, I have gotten them to match Tirerack prices too.

+1 for Discount Tire. Purchased two sets already and have been satisfied both times with fast shipping and customer service

I just got the same tires from Tire Kingdom. I cross-shopped between Tire Rack and discount tire, and Tire Rack was cheaper, but not when you include shipping. I stopped by Tire Kingdom, and got Doral tires for about $400 installed, with alignment. If you want to get out of there in a decent time, just have them do the tires, and nothing else, and tell them that.

I've used Tire Rack, both to buy tires directly from them and check against the prices at a local shop when I needed tires fairly quickly (don't forget to consider shipping cost if you do that). Prices are very good and the reviews and surveys are outstanding.

As for tires, I last bought Yokohama Envigors for my Accord and have been happy with them, especially in heavy rain. The only problem is that they've been backordered, and I now need a replacement (a very large screw went through the tread and out the sidewall the other night. Argh). Speaking of which, everyone should check the air in your spare tires. This was the first time the spare was used in a ten year old car, and it had just enough air left to get me home. Having a good flashlight and a heavy-duty four-way tire iron came in handy, too.

Only two I've ever used. I used to use Tirerack.com b/c I had a hookup to mount/balance tires, but now I pretty much go to Discount Tire since they have one local and are good about matching prices. So far so good

Oh and don't expect any killer deals b/c it's a recession. For one, according to economists the recession officially ended in July of 2009, and two, costs of tire manufacturing and the overhead associated with selling/shipping those tires has not decreased.

So, you may see some sales out there, but nothing really different then what you would have seen 2-3 years ago...

Really? Were they the model I posted? Been running mine for about 2 years, no issues really.

BJ's or Costco.

Prices are not too bad and they do lifetime balance and rotation for free. I bought my truck tires there. The set of 4 were about $30 more than tirerack but I never have to pay for balances and rotations again. You can usually get a good coupon as well.

I have Fuzion ZRi's on my stock wheels and feel it's a decent, cheap tire. They're about 2 years old and are on track for a 45k+ mile lifespan. Only downside I've noticed is that they're a bit noisy.
