My girlfriend is thinking about getting out of her old car and getting something new. My question is what are some good reasons for her to lease instead of buy?

If the spread between lease + buyout and straight financing is not very much then it would probably be a good idea to lease. They are basically guaranteeing the value of the car over the duration of the lease. Should something really stupid happen to the TSX that causes it's value to plummet (i.e. Audi's unintentional acceleration issue) you're covered.
