Good Bye All

Well I my TL days have ended. She was a great car but she
just wasn't doing for me.

05 SS/E AT
NO NAVI
APSEC Suspension & CT RSB

I know you hard cores will flame be but I got a COOPER S Black/White with
some nice bells and whistle. Automatic with paddles (very nice) I'll miss some
of the TL cush but I just couldn't get away from the go kart feel.
Ya the TL could do ramps at 60/70 but the MINI can do ramps 80/90+

I learned a lot from you guys. Some of you have done some sweet things with
your cars. Some are silly smart and then there's some with egos that are
just that. You guys have a good community here, keep it up.

PEACE

Studog

I'm not running. The wife drives an 02 MDX and we're really
happy with it. Most likely we'll get an 07 or 08. I'll still check
back from time to time. I love seeing what you guys do.

I'll tell you on a performance note. It wasn't about speed or
power. I'm all about the twisties there's not much stock for that
matter better then a COOPER S. And I really wanted something
different. Hell my father in law is good friends with a BMW
dealer and I could have gotten a new 3 for 20% off but
there all over the place.

Ya gotta do what makes you happy.

No need for anyone to hate or flame. Everybody should have a real fun impractical car at least once in their life. Don't go away we need other points of view imho; enjoy it and tell us how much you miss the TL.

I assume you've never been in a Prelude or a CRX. Either of those cars could give a Mini a run for its money.

Anyway, nice choice.

What a crazy turnaround, TL to mini... I wonder what you thought you were getting with a TL? It is a large car.

My dad was an old prelude enthusiast, owned like 4 of them before buy a celica in 1990. After he totalled his celica, he bought the CLS, which he gave to me and bought a MINI. I think he would have bought another prelude over the mini if they were still making them in 03.
