Funny, I know the owner of that Monster Charger...but it was for sale, so it might be in new hands now.

nice collection of cars but y oh y is the styling/graphics on most rides so over the top?! i mean, how can u win a rally if you constantly attract attention and get pulled over?

Yeah, cause a convoy of Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Porsches, etc. isn't low key at all.... a bunch of stickers alone would make the police go ape shit!!!

Really though, maybe they're just sponsorships? I think the point of getting a car like a Lamborghini IS to get attention.... so, no worries there. Looks like a lot of fun!

Love the cars, hate the stickers, but I can understand the reason for them.

That thing is pure hotness, I'd rock it with the same paint even after the rally if I owned it.

GR is one of the cheaper rallies. IIRC, it's around $7k or $8k.

DAMN!

I guess never mind then. Maybe I will take that off my list of things to do unfortunately. I would rather put that much money towards a House or an NSX one day.

Would do once, just to do it once. I still have my Mischief series DVDs documenting the crazy rallies. I've always wanted to do one. $7-8k is more affordable than the other more expensive events that cost $30k+.

I don't know if they would allow a lowly Hi-un-da-ee to participate, though.

This one isn't as much http://www.modball.com/rally/east-coast-2011-usacanada/. However you probably wouldn't have all the exotics since it is open to anything which would be kind of a bummer.

Close.

$7K for first timers.
$6K for previous rally-ers.

I'll shortly be posting another thread with pictures and video of another rally I will be participating in.

I was going to participate in the inaugural GR, but got cold feet once Abel took my deposit money for the GatorRun and then was reluctant to refund it after he canceled the event. I've been bummed I haven't participated in one since. Next year . . .

You could rent an exotic, sticker it up, then return it.

They actually had an exotic car rental company signed up for the rally-you could rent one for just the rally and they would have it ready at the start point, and then take it back at the end. Very expensive though . . .

So Clutch, how was it? Would you recommend it?
