Give me your picks...
These are a must for my new/used ride... can be a car or SUV
1.) Interior space (50/100 points)... for a 6'5, 280 fat ass
2.) Need at least 300 horses (20/100 points)
3.) Must have a stick shift (15/100 points)
4.) Would like RWD (10/100 points)
5.) Like to have NAV and sunroof (5/100 points)
Bonus Points:
20 points... under $50K
10 points... gas mileage of highway of over 30 mpg
Any suggestions?

As for SUVs, you have no choices. I don't think there's been an SUV with a V8 and a manual tranny on sale in the US for at least a decade.

yes, just barely...I think it starts at $51,000.
but other than that I think you are right....I can't think of a single manual v8 sedan made in the US.
thats pretty sad.

I test drove a M5... great car except my knees hit the dash between clutch changes. I need a little more space. The CTS-V had alot of clearance; a 2004 version may make the grade.

well I'm gonna get flamed for this I bet:
WRX Sti. it's 300 hp AWD and a stick. and it's only about 30 grand plenty left in the bank.(plus tons of aftermarket tuners out there for it).
the rival to the Sti is the Evo 8(however i'd wait on the Evo 9) MR edition
it's 276 hp. stick and AWD. once again plenty of money left in the bank and plenty of aftermarket tuners out there.
however if you wanna get away from the "boy racer image"
C55 AMG will set you back 55 grand. it's 362 hp and RWD no stick it has the AMG short shift. but it's an amazing car. not as much following and your bank account saying "OUCH"

and ironically i think the g35 6 speed sedan fits the bill even better...
1) i'm a 6'5" 230 lb fat ass, formerly in the 275 range and i fit in it fine
2) 298 hp close enough?
3) check
4) check
5) check and check
bonus 1) couldn't hit 40k from the dealer if you tried (check)
bonus 2) 26 mpg but i think 30 mpg is almost smoking crack from a 300hp rear wheel drive car from anyone (half check)
1) 50
2) 19.867 (298/300)
3) 15
4) 10
5) 5
a) 20
b) 8.667 (26/30)
grand total of 128.537 for probably around 35k and you could always just supercharge the piece to make it just as fast for still in the low 40k range

The G35 still interests me... I can't wait to see what they do with a redesign (2007??).
Alot of the Professors buying critera are like mine.
I think my experiment is done with FWD. With LSD in the 6spd, torguesteer isn't that bad, but it bothers me more now then when I first got the car. There aren't that many cars out there that interest me except the new Mustang, CTS-V, BMW 330, and G35 (all RWD).
