Hellz no i drove that for a day at the Benz C-Spot drive party. What a waste that car was. Even the C320 sucked balls.

But now that C32, that was something. But it only comes in one drivetrain format. And its called AUTO.

Maybe its cause it was at an Acura dealer. I believe i was told it was traded in for a new tl, but im not sure.

Which is the main reason any real driving enthusiast buys an m3 or an s4 over that overpriced shitbox with a nice motor and useless tranny!

save the plush interiors and classy rides for when your old, buy it while your young and can tolerate harsh rides

Balanced? The TL is no where near balanced. Plus it has alot of flaws.

G35 Sedan is 52/48 weight.

Umm you jealous? It is one of the sharpest looking cars out on the road today. I could say your CL looks like a old persons car.

Apples to Oranges here. The G35c is a great sport lux coupe (in that order) that looks great. The WRX STi is an ALL OUT sports car. Don't let the 4-doors or badge fool u. That car is as sporty as a Vette or 911. It's that serious.

Trust me, after u drive both, you will realize how different the 2 are.

Ummm how could you say a cl is an old persons car and a g35 sedan isn't? Im pretty sure that the average age for g35 sedan owners is older than cl owners. Whats with all the haters in this thread. All the cars mentioned are great cars, but everyone wants to hate on the one they don't have. I like em all.

no jealousy here, i think the coupe is hot, and just can't stand the tall rear end on the sedan, that car should have been a coupe only

the cl may have been targeted at an older age, but i don't think you can really say it "looks" like an old persons car

edit: i like the sti/evo also, but they look a little too "young" for me

Well when I bought my CL I saw more old people than young people driving CLs. The Sedan I see more middle aged, 25-40 people and mostly women. The coupe are 20-30~ as well.

New pic of mine......it didn't look good with the spoiler, but after it, looks a world better and gets many compliments all the time.

My mom has the G35 sedan w/ sport package and spoiler (incl?) in black. I am not a fan of the lines at all. And the headlights have to go. That's the only thing I don't like about the G35c too. But I still turn my head every time it passes (which I don't with the Z anymore). The coupe is so hot.

I've made the same observation about the CLs here in NJ; 25-40 y/o women seem to be the primary drivers.

As for the G35C, it's flatout the 2000s version of the 1980s IROC-Z OR 1990's BMW E36 coupe--GUIDO CITY!!! I always see them in sizeable numbers parked outside of: a) Olive Gardens, b) movie theaters and c) night clubs here in NJ on Saturday nights. I want no part of that image. No offense to those that embrace that demographic.

Peace.

Different perspectives here.

STi is Fast, Wild and an all around performer . . or the G35C is stylish and quick.

The good news is there are more mods available for either.

At this stage in my life I need 4drs, but would get the G35C, and then the STi as a play toy. :P

So what do you want?

This is such a tough decision because I've been waiting for such a long time to get my hands on a STi and now that the time has come, I'm not sure if I should because I plan to mod the shiet out of it and I don't know if that's gonna be good for the long run. So by that, I have my eyes on the g35 (nice car and no mods needed).

I love my CL-S, but yeah, it's and o1' and I'm tired of driving auto because it's not sporty enough for me anymore. And BTW, my engine is pretty shot from all the nitrous I squeezed into it, so the car isn't actually 100%.

Thanks again everyone for all your opinions, I greatly appreciate it.

I think I'm gonna go with the........ man, this is still tough. hahaha

Well, I have a couple weeks to think about it.

Think they'd trade me staight across for a 03 6spd w/ 20K miles

It's 1300 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses. Hit it.

The G35 coupe is not bad, but I still prefer the CL 6 speed to the G35. The CL is more refined, more quality, much better interior.
The only car that has tempted me in the past is the BMW 5speed 330 coupes, but they are overpriced, less comfortable, less features, less power. Shifter in the CL is the best.
Of your choices I'd go G35, but again, I'd only buy a 6 speed.

I was as biased as anyone with Acura until I test drove the G35C. Night and Day difference between the 2 cars and I own both

I would not have bought the G35 sedan. Ugly to me compared to a new TL

Hmmmm... I'm a l'il late for this one. I think you would be disappointed in the EVO or the STi for daily driving. Balls out driving, it would be a blast but the guys at Autoweek say they can't even drive smoothly at 25MPH. Who said Gallardo? WINNER! All you will get here is anti G setiment or PRO CL sentiment. Haters all of them. I had both and loved them both. Seriously take a look at the G35C, TL, and a Hummer H2 just for grins.
