getting my daily driver finally
yeah im picking this 97 integra up and kind of stoked. The thing is im buying it straight cash from someone and is it true all the seller will need to do is give me the pink slip/title then i just have to register it to the dmv and pay more taxes? Because I never bought a car private seller.

Depends on the state what you need, but usually you'll need a bill of sale and the title signed over to you. Go to your states DMV website and if they are worth a damn it'll be easy to find out.
Bill of Sale protects both seller and buyer. Downloadable templates are available at Microsoft and elsewhere. Google FTW.

CA DMV website has links to useful forms on its website - bill of sale, etc.
Also, the seller has the responsibility to get the buyer a smog certificate for the car in CA as well as signing over the pink slip.
