Getting back to my roots...

I owned a few bugs back in the day...and lately I've been craving another. I recently picked up this clean 64 and started tearing into it. Gonna be a lot of fun

Hey, I need to stop by your house before I sell my Acura

I have two dents that I need to pop-out...and also needed to see what I could do with this crack in my bumper.

yeah and I think from what I remember him telling me, he was doing this at his dads house before he had a license. so that would be about 1992, which would be back in the day.

not sure if that was in a defensive tone, but i was just curious, dick

I've always wanted to build a car from the body up. I think my dad and I are going to do an old porsche which i'm psyched about. Just a matter of getting him to clear out the garage

Cool... Keep us update, as this should be a interesting project (considering its just a body).

I really need to get motivated and get my vw put back together.

I actually saw a old school bettle cruise the other day , there were 12 of them just putting down turnpike in those lovely colors they had back in the day.

Sorry you couldn't pay me to drive one of those. Either new or an old one. I think they look nasty. Just not my taste.

I don't think they look "nasty", just a little feminine.

The new ones are cool if you're a lesbian and the cabriolet is too feminine for you.

Cool!! I had a 1967 21 window ragtop back in 92. I was working on it, but didn't finish it. I wish I would have kept it. I was an awesome cruiser!

Can't wait to see the finished product!!

Those ragtops are worth a lot of money. I also closed a deal on one once. It was a 65 in near mint condition and I almost got it for $800 (a steal). But owner decided at the last second to keep it.
