Gas on Asphalt

My Pathfinder has been leaking gas for a couple of days. There is a slow leak in the top of the tank that only leaks when full. Anyway there is a spot on the asphalt where it has made a mess. Now I know that gasoline will breakdown the asphalt. What do I need to use to clean it up without wrecking the asphalt.

I have used a pressure washer with some degreaser in it and it worked for the most part. I'm sure they make stuff out there that absorbs gasoline for this specific purpose.

Sawdust??

Maybe some of that stuff that is made to absorb oil from your garage or driveway would work too....I can't remember what that is called at the moment, but there is stuff out there for that.
