Where is the best place or online to buy gap insurance. Some of you might remember me being the guy with 25k over my lease limit. Well, I took the cheap route and bought out my car with another loan but now have no gap insurance.

The dealer wants 900 bucks for 60 months of coverage. I said no and am trying to buy on my own. But a goggle search has limited choices from rather shady places. Any help anyone?

 

I paid $750 for gap coverage on my Vette from the dealer....you def should do better than $900...

 

You might want to call your insurance agent and find out if they offer it. It's usually cheaper through them.

 

My car insurance is geico, they dont offer it.

Does anyone have any updates on this topic? I just paid $520.00 for GAP coverage at an Acura dealer and am wondering #1 Do I need it? #2 Can I get it cheaper elsewhere?
