G37 with GTR Exhaust *VID*

Holy mother I want to do this!
Anyone know how much an OEM GTR exhaust costs? Can't seem to find a cost.

Also, anyone seriously know if this will work? The stock tips probably will not fit on the stock G37 bumper, but I would try to cut the tips and keep my stock ones.

Sure does but you can still hear the VQ note with this exhaust. Just with more growl.

The typical VQ exhaust note is already awesome. This just accentuates it, making it deeper. here!

I like that sound but I don't think I would like it on a g37. If I had one that is. 350 for sure. g37 feels more luxury than sporty to me, and that sound would get obnoxious fast

I don't care if that sound was on a buick, I would love to hear that everytime I drive, I would probably have more speeding tickets from that exhaust alone. Had to come back and listen to that thread a few times. Wonder what it would take to get that exhaust on a CL...

No way. Stillen doesnt sound anything like that on the G37. Go YouTube it and you will see. This is more aggressive. If you want to compare this sound to ANY aftermarket exhaust for the G, go look up Ark Performance. That is pretty throaty.

To each is own but anyone who thinks the VQ sound on a G is obnoxious, let alone that aftermarket sound probably shouldnt own a G in the first place.

Most aftermarket exhausts for the G ruin the beautiful note it already has. This is the reason I am still stock and don't mind it one bit. There are very few that add a bit more sound but keep the VQ growl. This being similar and the Tanabe Axlebacks (youtube) are pretty damn close also.

I just think that g37 is too luxury for that kind of sound. On a 370z I wouldn't mind it at all. And you are right, I wouldn't buy a g37, I would have went with a gen coupe. I'd only get a G in a sedan

eh, too much (negative) attention. if you lived in dense suburbs, your neighbors would think you were a total ass-hat - the guy with an infiniti, pretending to have a supercar. if it were an actual supercar, or GTR for that matter, then it would be excusable.

Doesn't make much sense. There are other exhausts for the G that sound very similar. Are you saying that a $40k luxury sport car can't have an aftermarket exhaust at all?

So the BMW, Audi, Lexus, and Benz cars would look like "asshats" pretending to have a supercar? LOL Come on man.

I gotta agree, my neighbor has a loud older 3 series and I can't stand when he passes me in the parking garage. Now my other neighbor has a ferrari and one has a Maserati Quattroporte, they are pretty damn loud, especially in the garage but it's ok because they are indeed super cars.

That being said, I think you could get away with this on the G because everyone knows the G is loud already IMO

I dont think its that loud. Its in a building with the cam right there next to it. Its not like its a straight piped Harley Davidson.

That sounds awesome!

I searched around for a bit and stumbled upon someone selling GT-R exhaust for 1600 KWD (Kuwaiti dinars). In US dollars, that's $5664
