The interior looks too much like a maxima...

The back is much outreagous, fooking uglehh.... The back bumper is like a pull up pampers.... Yeck..

But there's no way in hell I would chose the G35 if I had to chose between my car and the G35 coupe.
Hell if I won it on a contest I'd probably just sell it and keep my CL. It's just that ugly, IMO. Inside and out.

I think the G35 Coupe is pimp...and would consider trading in the CL for it.

seems to me this car is the nail in the coffin for the CL-S; if I were in the market for one this fall, there's no doubt I'd pick the G-35 over the CL. It's the perfect blend between the G35 sedan and the new Zcar......

 

I think it looks great! If only it had been out 2 years ago.

now that you mention it...it does look photoshopped, if you look closely at the edges, it looks a bit odd

 

If it is photoshopped, they did an excellent job. Even the shadows from the side mirrors match up....

Anyway, the G35 looks hot! If it only had the 18" optional wheels it would look even nicer.

no def not a photoshop .. look at all the shadows in the two pics (which are definitely 2 distinct zoom angles .. look at the lights on the bmw in one and not in the other) like look at the shadows in the back seat and everything else lines up perfectly

g35 is badass. beautiful etc. i would own one in a heartbeat.

 

I also think the G35 coupe is an excellent looking car. But to be fair the 03 CL looks much better in dark colors (especially from the front). Silver looks awefully plain.

The G35 looks too damn long and stretched out in the pics Beltfed posted. I'm going to have to see it in person.

 

Truer words have never been put to text. That is so true. I love that G35 Coupe and I love the interior of my CLS.

 

I got the brochure today too. Car looks stubby with that bigas rear bumper cover, looks too much like a Cougar or a Chrysler butt. From the side it looks Audiish, from the front Lexus, but the back does not look as good. Looks small like a Cougar, but I hope it's bigger.

 

For some reason there seem to be a ton of the G35 sedans driving around in Houston. Every single one of them has been driven by a 40+ person (not that there's anything wrong with that).

Plus the thing is fuglier than the Aztec. (My $.02).

Rob, the coupe looks nothing like the sedan. ....agreed, the sedan is not the slickest looking car. Uglier than an Aztec, thats a bit strong.

I happen to the think the G35 coupe is much better looking than the CL-S.

True dat! But wheelwell gaps are among the first things I take care of when I start modding so it wouldn't matter much.

I'm all about the G35 coupe... I just want to know what type of mods we can expect to see for it. Is there a JDM equivalent car? Is it safe to assume that all new Z mods and Skyline mods will work since it's the same engine that will be in the R35, just 5hp less than the new Z and maybe different cams and some forced-induction away from whatever the skyline gets?

Either you mean they just don't make a G35 coupe there because they have the skyline and it's too similar in style, or you are incorrect, because the skyline will eventually come here and it certainly wont be the same as the G35 coupe - AWD, turbo'd engine, and a different body style.

The G35 in Japan is called the Skyline. There is a difference between a regular Skyline and its performance cousin, the Skyline GTR. The G35 coupe will have FACTORY BACKED MODS from Nismo (including a supercharger for the 3.5L V6). In several years, the GTR will come to American shores and will be the performance flagship for Infiniti.

 

so there you have it...

 

go give each car a hug. all 3 of those cars are BEAUTIFUL. g35 is sweet, it looks really unique.
