Sorry if everyone's already seen this, but it was the first G35 I'd seen with the full $3000 body kit. It wouldn't be worth it to me, but it still looks good.

I like the front & the side skirts, but I don't like the spoiler. $3000 seems a little outrageous for a body kit tho.

The dealer didn't put the front bumper on for some reason!!!!!!!
I know that the kit is kinda expensive, but at least they get a kit from the dealer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At this point, if the dealer came out with the SEMA kit for the CL, I would spend $3000 in second!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My brothers car is awesome by the way!!!!!!!!!! He got the sport, premium, and HID packages. The only thing missing was the winter package. He looked for OVER 2 months for the color and options he wanted. He even went to the Las Vegas dealer and two dealer in Pheonix, AZ!!!!! When he got back from his vacation, we happened to have the same day off, so we went looking again in the Bay Area. We ended up in Concord and the next day I was taking the pics you see above in front of my house!!! Sorry for rambling, but that's my BROTHER!!!!!

I think the rear is still fugly, even after the 3k investment in the body kit.

it looks a lot better than that ugly plastic molding underneath that doesn't match the paint. it kills the hole car, it reminds me of a neon

Hmmm, $3k to make an extremely FUGGGGGGGLY even Uglier!! Yikes! and lousy build quality to boot. I saw one of these on the road and thought it was kinda revolting.

hold up a sec...if im not mistaken, the $3K doesn't include just what u SEE...i believe underneath and stretching all the way to the back are various pieces that'll help reduce the COD...i remember reading that somewhere...is it enough justification??? prob not, but hey, the dealer does sell em

the front piece reminds me of the old Iroc's back in later 80's

that spoiler IMO looks horrendous...looks like a Pontiac spoiler...way too small and looks so out of place with the back

and as far as the LED's go, they're unique except for the fact that the turn signal's aren't LED's, so when a guy is braking and turning, the lights look too weird since they don;t conform to each other

i mean really, who designs and approves a design for production of cars these days??? it almost looks like it's a rush design from start to finish...like noone cares to put in the time to make something better...know what im saying???

I agree with ya. I saw a silver G35 yesterday for the first time on the road and that was the same thing that want through my mind.

The rest of it is ok though. That backend is just funny looking.

That's just my opinion though. I'm sure there's a lot of people out there that really like it. Car asses are like female asses, everyone has a different idea of what looks good.

The front doesn't just use a sill like the back. The front is a whole replacement bumper, like you see on the platinum G.

Actually, my car (the black one) has the side sills and the rear underbody sill. I just don't have the front bumper. The dealer added these at the dealership.

I'm surprised by the people that think the G35 is ugly! I guess it's a matter of taste. I have had nothing but positive reactions. Everybody really likes my car, especially after they have been in it. I get plenty of looks when I'm out and about.

I know someone mentioned the "build quality" in this thread. Now there is a point that I can say is absolutely false. The "build quality" of the G is excellent. Everything in the car is solid a well built.

Weather or not you like the way it looks, you cannot deny it's performance. You guys now have some competition from Infiniti.

Your right, I didn't notice the side skirts on your brother's car, but I think the rear lip is different from the one with the whole kit. Take a look.



Your bro's looks smooth all the way across, but the silver car has an indention, or whatever you'd call it.

The bottom part of the silver one is painted black. If you look closely at the my brother's rear lip, you will see an indent.
