fun family hauler debate

my buds at work were talking about what good options for family hauler for one guy at work. he has 2 kids. doesn't want a Mini-van wants a sedan.
wants either Front wheel drive or All wheel drive. he wants a v-6. just cause he has family he said "doesn't mean he has to drive it like a grandpa"
i told him either new Passet VR6 with 4 motion
or
09 Maxima.
he isn't hip on the new Accord style or Camry style.
I also threw the Impala SS out there as an option but Chevy build quality
any other options.

Also, Mercury Milan, Ford Fusion, G35, ES350 and A6. Do you have a price range?

And actually, I just noticed the "fun" family hauler part of your thread title. Haha....that limits the choices for sure.

again rear wheel drive MUST BE ALL WHEEL DRIVE OR FRONT WHEEL DRIVE. He plans on this for his wife's car and they don't have a spare car so in the winter she must drive this and rear wheel drive+ decent amount hp+snow/ice=into snowplow or power pole.

RL with A-Spec suspension. Not joking. Mine has a baby seat in it and is an awesome handler.

+3 on the G8, look at that when it is released. FAST....and seats five.
