As you may have read from my previous post, I said I was selling my CLS for a slightly used M5 imported from germany. I know I am about to get flamed...but if you love your CLS, you will understand....
Yesterday, I drove my friends 2000 M5. I love the car. Its fast, Its nice, its a BMW.
But...after diving it, I do not want to give up my 60 thousand dollar CLS. Yes, my dealer offered 59 thousand dollars for my CLS, for all the toys it as. If you wanna know whats in it, ask me. So i decided that all my hard work was not worth giving up for the M5, and i enjoyed the drive on my CLS better...the M5 is too fast for NYC...i have no where to use the power...maybee only at 3 am. But the CLS has plenty... My dad and I were talking, and I agreed with him that the CLS is plenty fast, very luxurious, comfortable...and with all the work and toys I put into it, I refuse to give it up. Call me crazy, but I love the CLS. Sorry for the long post, and hope you wont rip on me too much LONG LIVE THE CLS!!!

ok so I am asking you what constitutes $37,000 worth of car (Assuming your car is worth 23K at this point) that a dealership would pay for? Please list your mods / goodies. It's not that I don't believe you it's that it's hard to believe.

Hmmm, I'm not sure if that's a 35K plus sound system. I hope it sounds nice... personally, I would have spend 4K on a sound system and 25K on a 2 year old 4-Runner... Or at least a half of turbine.

Another thing though...my dealer offered the high price...i belive because there was a guy who offered to buy it for that money...without knowing that it was my car.
I offered to sell it to people, and they were more than happy to pay the price. My car has a 22 thousand dollar sound system...so that people dont flame me....ill post all the reciets soon. I know its hard to belive...thats why i am not getting upset..same thing happened to my friends 528i. His car is worth 110 thousand...no, im not kidding, dealer offered him 90, and he bought it for 40. Just so you know why...his car will smoke an M5 like castro smokes cubans, and has no problems keeping up with a 911 turbo. But, i know talk is cheap....so ill post the pics soon.

By the way...just wanted to ask...this weekend...I am going to have my governor removed. Has anyone done this and did you have any problems???
Also...someone offered to install an NSX tanny on my bad boy...do you think its possible or a bunch of bullshit...assume money is no object..(well...not 50 grand, but you know what i mean)

if you ask me, I think its BS from this point. $110k 528i? Why? Why not buy a Ferrari at this point? 528i blowing away a 911 TT? How? No turbo made for consumers will be able to do that, won't even come close. Spending over $20k on a sound system? Get yourself some headphones!

$60k CLS? Why the CLS? Other cars too inferior? Seriously, I will have 150% doubt until I see some proof of this BS. Until then, I stand my ground and declare this topic as "BS" from my point of view.

Also, why a 528i? Why not a 540i? Much better chance at getting past a 911 TT with that baby!
