Meh, I don't feel bad. It asks how often you visit "a" car wash, not that one in particular. Also says one sample per household, and mentions that out of state is fine.

I used a spare email, as well. But, I think this will be more of the paper spam through snail mail.

Nah. Megs probably hooked him up with a bunch of product either free or deeply discounted, plus it seem like he is using them to gain customer insight for his own business.
